My Desire Statement ~ Tell The Universe What you Want!

When you acknowledge what you do NOT want, and then ask yourself, “What is it that I DO want?” you begin a gradual shift into the telling of your new story and into a much-improved point of attraction. You get the essence of what you think about—whether you want it or not—because Law of Attraction is unerringly consistent—therefore, you are never only telling the story of ‘how it is now.’

You are also telling the future experience that you are creating right now.

Napoleon Hill was so right when he extolled the virtues of being part of a Mastermind group. I’m amazed by how powerful it is. Even as I wrote this I have to return to my draft as we came up with a plan together today that blew me (and everyone else), out of the water!

I cannot begin to tell you how valuable it is proving, ~ sharing insights, wisdom, stumbling blocks and challenges to manifesting our heart’s desires and above all sharing our humanity and vulnerability with each other… not to mention the accountability factor!

So here I am this morning (as agreed) ~ not exactly putting pen to paper but putting fingers to keyboard and talking about my Desire Statement… my vision for my life… telling my brain, which can’t tell the difference between what is real and vividly imagined in a type of ‘mental rehearsal’, per the Law of Attraction, what we are going to be living in a very short amount of time!

It is one of my intentions to create a blog resume here with all of the processes of Abraham from ‘Ask and it is Given’ so it’s on the cards that I’ll soon explain HOW to elicit a Desire Statement, similar to the one I’ve written here, and based upon The Clarity through Contrast technique, but for now I just want to get my Desire Statement out there into the Cosmic Cooking Pot and let its vibrations percolate in the Vortex and Stream of Consciousness.

So here it is:

I am in the process of attracting all that I need to be, do and have in order to magnetize financial freedom, abundant wealth, radiant health, MY definition of success and the absolute life of my dreams!

I am so jazzed!

I wake up each and every day feeling so grateful, happy to be alive and excited about what each new day will bring.

I love knowing that all my needs are met by an abundant, friendly and supportive Universe and since our huge lottery win I am a devotee and firm believer in every aspect of The Law of Attraction.

Of course I had to believe it first to get the results we did, but if there ever were any doubts at all beforehand, they are eradicated now and there are simply… none at all. I’m blown away by how my faith and trust in the face of ‘failure’ has carried me through my very darkest hour and transformed my life and that of those I love. I’m jazzed how my sense of self-esteem and patience have grown through these apparent struggles and how much more compassion I now have for my clients’ trials and tribulations. I appreciate the gift within the challenge now as never before as I feel myself stretch and grow becoming more of who I always was!

I love knowing that there is a constant stream of abundance and money with which I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and to share richly with whoever I want to be generous towards. It gives me infinite pleasure and joy to watch my charitable foundation work ceaselessly all over the planet, helping some of those in need and making a significant impact where it’s required most.

Our Secret Millionaire program gives me the greatest satisfaction as it allows me to travel all over the world spreading a little magic like a sprinkling of fairy dust here and there while keeping the whole thing under wraps just like a fairy godmother or a magical genie.

I love feeling relaxed, carefree, passionate and exhilarated with boundless energy and enthusiasm for the exciting lifestyle I have chosen and created from my Vision and the business I run which helps underwrite it all and makes such a difference to so many people.

Making a difference is above all the fuel for my daily fire.

Nevertheless being able to wake up and do whatever I want each day without having to ‘should all over myself’ is just wonderful. Of course I don’t sit around every day being lazy but knowing I can do whatever I want each day and being able to rely on my virtual employees and staff gives me such freedom I always feel calm and relaxed. Plus I can have body work sessions and work out with my personal trainer whenever I chose and that is an absolute blessing.

I am so grateful that the abundance I’ve attracted allows me to live wherever I choose and that I was able to salvage my home in Byron Bay from the near train wreck prior to the rapid turn around in my fortunes. Opening the door to VIP clients was also something that gave me enormous pleasure, watching people transform before my eyes and giving rise to the Health, Wealth and Inner and Outer Beauty clinics I now own all over the world.

I now deliberately choose to drop all resistance to allowing abundance, prosperity and wealth to fall into my lap with ease and consummate grace, without that I have to DO anything ~ but simply because I DESERVE IT.

The Law of Attraction is unfolding right here right now and orchestrating all that needs to happen to manifest my desires.

How amazing is that quote? And how well timed too.

I have a perpetual calendar that has the dates but not the days on and so I get to use it every year, receiving its wisdom if and when I choose to listen! This last one gave me chills. It was the insight for June 14th the day I came back from a recent jaunt to Sydney that completely shifted my opinion on emotional clearing and mastery!

You may have read my blog post last week about The Grandma Messages. How inspired is that, eh? My good friend Deborah Battersby came up with the notion and allowed me to share it on my blog so we can all spread the messages of validation and empowerment to those we love and care about. Hope you’re doing it? If not, it’s not too late! When would NOW be a great time to start?

Now they say that there are no such things as coincidences, and that events are not random or accidental, so how cool was it that Deb was on a rare visit to Australia last weekend and as a result of touching base again invited me to her EmMatrix workshop. I had NO idea beforehand what the course was about or what we would cover, but I AM a serial workshop and seminar junkie as you might have gathered by now, (which is not to say I’m not discerning and I only move my butt for something or SOMEONE really worthwhile); so I was delighted at the prospect of spending time with and learning something life transforming from Deb.

Deb is an amazing Human Being. She’s been a role model, friend and mentor to me for quite some time since I met her in her capacity as a Tony Robbins Master Trainer in 2001 at my very first Robbins event. She is awesome in the true sense of the word: a skilled coach, a ‘pattern recognition specialist’ and a facilitator for massive and lasting change, so I set off for Sydney with great excitement (and a certain amount of trepidation!) last weekend not knowing what lay ahead, yet excited at the prospect of transformation not only in my own life but potentially in the lives of people I work with and influence too! I had no idea what to expect other than something life changing for sure. Hence my excitement and my trepidation!

I’ve always wondered why it is that in spite of participating in every workshop, seminar and process known to modern man, I still sometimes feel like there’s something missing in a way; and despite learning and growing with each new insight, nonetheless I wonder not exactly ‘what’s wrong’ but from a certain perspective, why I don’t seem to have ‘cracked the code’ yet? Life’s great, don’t get me wrong, and I’m doing all the ‘right’ stuff like the Gratitude Journals and the visualizing and the magnetizing, but I’ve still sometimes been feeling like there’s something I’ve not been ‘getting’. Could it be that I’ve been laboring under an illusion and not seeing something blindingly obvious? Have I been looking at things the ‘wrong’ way?

Well after years of working on myself, I’m happy to announce I feel like I’ve finally found the missing link! Which is that there are no such things as ‘negative’ emotions!    happinessll

Yes, I know! We’ve all accepted as gospel that we shouldn’t feel so-called ‘negative’ emotions, beliefs and patterns and yet we all do….frequently…. and with no end in sight despite working hard on ourselves to BECOME BETTER. And when we do experience them, we think we’re doing something ‘wrong’, so we try to camouflage them, hide them, deny them, repress them, not talk about them or simply pretend they aren’t there. With the result that all that denial has created what can only be described as a conflicting ‘push – pull’ effect that try as we might always seems to be working against us. As if life weren’t challenging enough without doing what we have all come to label ‘sabotage’.

We end up feeling stressed, experience actual physical pain and dis-ease, sudden, seemingly meaningless, unprovoked and often violent waves of emotion that can wreak havoc on our relationships, work or career and prevent us from experiencing our natural intrinsic power, fulfillment and joy which is every human being’s true nature. And all of that because we seem to be expending massive amounts of energy in holding back the tide of emotions rather than embracing our feelings and integrating them by accepting and making friends with them.

Yes, I agree that this is pretty radical thinking but bearing in mind that the system we have all been following for years doesn’t seem to have worked out for us all that well, wouldn’t it perhaps be time to change our thinking on all this? EmMatrix does.

Let’s put it another way. Would you agree that our body has inherent wisdom and intelligence to regulate its temperature, circulate our blood, replace our cells, digest our food, breathe, reproduce and even grow our hair and finger nails? And that it performs trillions of functions simultaneously without our having to intervene or manage anything….(thank goodness or we’d probably forget something vital and mess it all up!) So what if the Emotional System was actually working exactly as it should, and that it was in the INTERPRETATION of its intention and purpose that we were getting our wires crossed?

Abraham talks a lot about our Emotional Guidance System and likens those ‘negative’ feelings to radar or a GPS helping us to discern when we have strayed away from our Source and cut ourselves off from Truth. But what if we took it one step further and as Deborah maintains, acknowledged that whatever we are feeling is absolutely perfect and as it should be, and that every emotion, belief and feeling in fact has a message for us and always has our best interest at heart. Novel concept, eh?

The emMatrix™ System has the power to transform your perception of ‘negative’ emotions (like fear, frustration, anger, overwhelm, incompetence, unworthiness, doubt, procrastination and any others you care to think of  . . .) and turn them on their head as you get to understand why you should appreciate, say “thank you” and learn from them, releasing and replacing them with feelings of confidence, peace, joy, fulfilment and quite frankly any darn emotion that feels good!

In working with the Law of Attraction I have learned to focus on ‘feel better thoughts’ but over and over again I’ve encountered my own and my clients’ limiting beliefs popping up all over the place like a ceiling against which we continually bump our heads. Yes, there are many meditations, visualizations and processes such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) one can use to work them through but the emMatrix™ System appears to do this in one short sharp session which cuts the roots of limitation and negativity for good.   388---Nov-30---Dec-6,-2008---great

In the workshop I saw Deb work with a ‘guinea pig’ invited in for the purposes of the demonstration who knew NOTHING in advance about what she was letting herself in for. This young lady had suffered for years with chronic neck and lower back pain, migraine and headaches and severe stress. We watched as Deb ‘interviewed’ the parts in the young lady’s body and asked them about their higher purpose and intentions.  In a matter of less than an hour the girl had drastically lessened her sensations of anxiety, pain and stress ~ not to mention gain massive insight into the positive attributes, strengths and learnings her so called ‘negative’ emotions had equipped her with as permanent life skills. When the ‘negative’ emotion leaves the body, its legacy is always the strengths and attributes it came to instill; and even if the emotion or pattern rears its ugly head again in the future at some point, there has been a permanent and irreversible shift in perception about it.

Last night I tried out the same technique on my friend Sue who has had agonizing ankle pain for almost 20 years. I can’t claim that she is ‘cured’ but the pain is down from a level 8/10 to about a 3 or 4 today and getting less as the day progresses. Needless to say she is delighted and enlightened by the messages her ankle pain, (Joe) had to share with her!

I am a born sceptic. It’s been part of my own personal matrix for years… yet it’s helped me find my own truth and sense of self when I’ve listened to it and not let it get carried away by being over zealous! I confess that sometimes it’s a muscle that’s been a tad overused and this is where the emMatrix™ System becomes so influential. When you overwork any muscle at the gym you can end up looking a bit top heavy or get sore. When you go overboard with an emotional muscle the gift your emotion came to share with you can become overdeveloped and disproportionate too, masking the gift and turning it into a curse; while all our attempts to repress and control it make it feel even more intense.

Sceptical until proven otherwise I am, but this technique beggars belief! 100% of the interventions we did on each other in class were beyond successful, for emotional issues, limiting beliefs as well as for physical pain. I’m certainly going to use it in my practice as a way of clearing the dead wood and cutting old roots from branches and undergrowth that restrict me and my clients from becoming the radiant prosperous beings we all are!

Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace.

The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.

Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

  • A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.
  • An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
  • A loss of interest in judging other people.
  • A loss of interest in judging self.
  • A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.
  • A loss of interest in conflict.
  • A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom.)
  • Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
  • Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
  • Frequent attacks of smiling.
  • An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than (try to) make them happen.
  • An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.


If you have some or all of the above symptoms, please be advised that your condition of inner peace may be so far advanced as to not be curable. If you are exposed to anyone exhibiting any of these symptoms, remain exposed only at your own risk.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if the reports we heard on the news each day were filled with examples of radiant happiness and chronic bliss instead of the “war” on this thing or the something or other “crisis”? Well, I believe it truly is possible and happily I am not alone.

So how would someone get into the state of displaying one or all of these “dangerous” peaceful symptoms and eventually becoming significantly more mindful and stress-free?

To cut a very long story short it was probably over 20 years ago that some one gave me a copy of the “Symptoms of Inner Peace” by Saskia Davis. It was definitely something I really aspired to, but to be honest I was way off being anywhere close! I’m not even sure if i could truthfully say that I live by those precepts 24/7 today, but I do feel a lot less perturbed than I was back then.

So what is the difference that has made so much difference in my life?

The difference has been introducing the practice of daily… if at all possible … meditation, silence and introspection into my life; if you adopt a daily habit of witnessing and distancing yourself from your thoughts and dramas, then eventually you too can enjoy the state of meditation rather than it being something you do each day.

Wherever I go these days I meet people who have techniques for this and methods for that; they all say “if you only did this for 15 minutes a day you’d feel the benefits” and I wonder how much time would be left in the day to do anything at all if I strung all those 15 minutes together. But if I were to recommend one effortless thing that would make a noticeable difference in your life, because it has made such a difference in mine,?I would have to recommend meditation.

I am sure that 15 minutes of meditation a day can truly keep the doctor away, not to mention keeping you sane in these potentially disconcerting times we are currently experiencing worldwide.

The use of Meditation for healing is not new. Meditative techniques are the product of diverse cultures and peoples around the world. They have been rooted in the traditions of the world’s great religions. In fact, practically all religious groups practice meditation in one form or another. The value of meditation to alleviate suffering and promote healing has been known and practiced for thousands of years.

The Ancients have known for years that we are made up of many different layers or bodies, (commonly accepted to be 7 but we won’t argue here!!).
No need to go into what they are at this point, but we have pretty much come to recognize today that we are more than just our physical body, possessing a mental, emotional and a spiritual one besides.

Numerous scientific studies show that the regular practice of meditation can be a powerful healing tool not just for the physical body but for them all. When I was studying the esoteric sciences we were taught that dis-ease begins in the etheric body long before it passes to the mental and emotional bodies, so I also like to consider that meditation acts as a preventative measure as well as a healing one. People I know who meditate regularly certainly seem to be pretty healthy, preferring to “clean themselves out” mentally and emotionally through meditation, as well as obviously making sure they get enough sleep, eat well and take sufficient exercise.

More and more doctors are prescribing meditation as a way to lower blood pressure, improve exercise performance in people with angina, help people with asthma breathe easier, relieve insomnia and generally relax the everyday stresses of life. Meditation is a safe and simple way to balance a person’s physical, emotional, and mental states. It is simple but can benefit everybody.

Can Meditation lead to increased Health, Well being and Inner Peace… really?
